The China Gut Festival (CGF) is an interdisciplinary large-scale academic communication platform. It is jointly initiated and founded by Dr.  Faming Zhang from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University and Mr. Canhui Lan from Rexinchang Biotechnology Research Institute based on the 4th China Holistic Integrative Enterology Conference. 

The CGF 2018, themed at “Integration wins the future, health relies on gut”, was held at National Convention Center in Beijing from May 11th to 13th, 2018. 

The CGF 2019, with the theme of “Communicate, Connect, Consolidate”, will deeply integrate the global progress in gut-related fields, including microbiome, chronic diseases, maternal and infant, animals, cancer, nutrition, traditional Chinese medicine and new technologies. Research teams with papers published on top journals during the past two years are invited to give presentations at the conference. More than 160 academic reports from famous experts are in schedule.

The gut industry is also gaining momentum with the surge of scientific research. In order to promote communication and cooperation among industry and academia, and promote the gut industry in China, the conference will include industrial section in addition to its academic agenda, and invite pioneering enterprises to communicate and jointly draft the Blueprint of the Gut Industry in China! More than 60 industrial reports are expected, focusing on integrations of industry, education and research, transformation of scientific and technical achievements, industrial development, and relative topics like capital and marketing.

More than 4,000 attendees are expected to participate in the conference, including scientists, doctors, and R&D researchers from high-tech pharmaceutical companies, who pay close attention to the frontier of gut-related research, as well as industrial professionals from upstream and downstream enterprises.
